When it comes to fashion, I know little. It’s true and it’s sad. But I adore it more than most things. And it all started with a vogue magazine long ago with a model who’s name I can’t remember immersed in the magical world that was Thumbelina. The model was perfectly poised and the costumes and props in and around her painted the picture of the most memorising fairytale wonderland.
Editorial’s and image creation is what got me hooked on it all. But those times seem to have passed. Where enough creativity on the set could turn a mere fashion shoot into a storyline, long gone are the days of Tim Walker and British Vogue painting a visually demanding magazine filled with colour and dazzling effects. Their seems to be more simplicity and I can’t say much for the photographer’s or the brands but oh how I would love to be apart of something like that.
