Following on from channel 9’s Postcards, my hometown Hampton is definitely considered one of Bayside’s cutest seaside suburbs. From boutique fashion stores to to quaint home and art decor studios to authentic and minimalistic cafes, Hampton is vibrant and alive throughout all 4 seasons. Here are some of my favourite cafes in Hampton 🙂

  • The Brown Cow Cafe

I hate to be biased but The Brown Cow is definitely one of my faves! I’ve been coming here since I was itty bitty and 21 years on I still love it. The change their menu every now and then but always keep it simple and wholesome. It always feels like you’re having a home cooked meal. Or if you’re simply looking for a glass of wine and it’s a warm day you can sit outside in the sunshine in their clean and lively front courtyard.

  • Urchin Bar

Mediterranean cuisine set amongst the bustling Hampton St, the Urchin Bar has some of the most delectable dishes with a bit of European zing in them. Situated directly in the heart of Hampton street it’s the perfect place for a quick drop in or is completely welcoming if you want to stick around for a little longer.

  • The Food Smith

Relatively new to Hampton street, The Food Smith fits right in to our little village. With beautiful little muffins and flour coated puff pastries, you can also grab a quick lunch from in the kitchen or form one of their display shelfs. Highly recommend the zucchini and feta fritters. Healthy and totally delish.

  • Sebastian’s Food and Wine

Ok ok, I know this cafe was mentioned on the show but it’s just too good to ignore. The most delectable hotcakes and breakfast meals as well as smoothies and milkshakes, it’s perfect for breakfasts, lunches and snacks and on Friday and Saturday nights you can try their awesome Wagu Beef Burgers.

  • The Spare Room

This was one of my favourite places to grab a coffee on the way to school back in the day. With an all day breakfast and lunch menu they pride themselves on vegan, vegetarian and gluten free meals.

  • Cornerstone & Co.

Another newbie to hit Hampton but is ACTUALLY on Ludstone street, Cornerstone and Co is simply AWESOMMMMME!!!! Minimalistic, chic and modern this place does an awesome smashed avo and very unique burgers that are sublime. And of course… delicious coffee 😉
